Brecks man in court charged with multiple sexual offences

A 24-year-old Brecks man has appeared in court today (Tuesday) charged with multiple offences including inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Dominic Rhodes, of Sheep Cote Road, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court charged with two counts of attempting to cause a female aged 13 or over to engage in sexual activity and one count of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

Rhodes is also charged with five counts of causing a female aged 13 or over to engage in sexual activity and five counts of taking indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child.

The offences are alleged to have occurred via social media platforms between March 2016 and April 2017 and relate to seven girls who were aged between 13 and 20.

Rhodes has been conditionally bailed and is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, November 26.
