Break-ins at two neighbouring homes in Edlington

TWO houses on an Edlington street were broken into within three hours on the same night.

Electronic items and jewellery were taken from one of the properties, as well as a white Peugeot from the drive outside.

Nothing is believed to have been taken from the other Main Avenue house when the incidents happened between 9pm and midnight last Thursday (24).

A police spokesman added: “Officers want to hear from you, if you were in the area that evening and saw or heard anything suspicious.”

Call 101 quoting incident 297 of August 25.
