Nathan and Ashley, both of Croft Mews, Barleycroft Lane, Dinnington, and their cousin Plant (36), of Sandymount Road, Wath, all denied murdering Mr Fretwell on December 18 last year and have been on trial for two weeks at Sheffield Crown Court.

Nathan shouted: “You're wrong!” as the jury’s verdict was read out, and hugged his half-brother.

The jury deliberated for seven hours and 36 minutes before reaching their verdicts.

Mr Fretwell (47) was found to have suffered more than 70 injuries.

A pathologist said it appeared he had been beaten with a blunt instrument.

The judge is due to sentence Plant and Nathan Fensome this afternoon.
