BREAKING: Staff evacuated from fire at Dinnington firm

STAFF at a Dinnington businesses have been evacuated after a fire broke out this afternoon (Tuesday).

Four fire crews are currently at the scene on Outgang Lane and are using an aerial appliance to tackle the blaze, said a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 12.25pm after reports of flames coming from the roof of the single-storey commercial premises, she added.

"All persons were evacuated from the premises, there's no indication yet as to how it started," she added.

An eye-witness said the building was near to KP Beds and believed it could be a paint and decorating company.
