BREAKING: Accused in double murder trial found guilty of two killings 21 years apart

Gary Allen (47, pictured), of Bradbury’s Close, Parkgate, strangled Ms Grlakova (38) on the night of Boxing Day 2018 or the following morning and dumped her in a stream in Parkgate, where her body was found four months later.

He was found guilty this morning of killing Ms Grlakova (below) – and of murdering Samantha Class (29), from Hull, in October 1997 and dumping her in the Humber.

Allen was tried and acquitted for Mr Class’s murder in 2000 but put on trial again after new evidence came to light.

Jurors began deliberations after retiring on Tuesday morning and returned to give their verdicts at 11.15am today.

Allen will be sentenced for both murders next Wednesday.
