Break-in at Rotherham library
BURGLARS smashed their way into a Rotherham library over the weekend.
Police were called to Mowbray Gardens Library on Sunday (15) at 1am after receiving reports of a burglary.

Hide Ad“It is believed the unknown offenders smashed a window to gain entry to the library,” said a spokeswoman.
“Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing.”
The Herringthorpe Valley Road library and neighbourhood hub was forced to close on Monday morning but reopened in the afternoon.
A Rotherham Council spokeswoman said nothing had been stolen, adding: “The Library will continue to host its regular activities and we look forward to welcoming residents again.”
