Boy (7) treated by flying docs after car collision

The seven-year-old boy was in collision with a silver Ford Fiesta Ghia on Victoria Street at around 11.45am, said a South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance landed at Kilnhurst Recreation Ground and medics treated the boy at the scene.

The police spokeswoman said the boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
