Boxing Day vehicle fires were started deliberately

A VEHICLE deliberately set alight in Templeborough in the early hours of Boxing Day was one of two targeted that day.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to Sheffield Road at 5.35am, and spent 40 minutes at the scene, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said

Another vehicle was deliberately set on fire on Longfellow Drive, Herringthorpe, at 8.25pm, the spokesperson added.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to the incident and left the scene at 9.15pm.
