Bomb squad carry out controlled explosion in Greasbrough after two devices found
A CONTROLLED explosion was carried out in a park in Greasbrough today (Thursday) after police discovered two explosive devices at a property.
Police said three people were in custody after officers recovered the devices along with a suspected firearm during a search of an address on Briery Walk this morning.
A bomb disposal unit from the Army were deployed to Greasbrough Park to help with the controlled explosion, a police spokeswoman said.
