'Body' found on land at back of hotel near Parkgate

REPORTS have suggested a body was found this afternoon (Monday) behind a hotel at Parkgate.

A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: "A scene has been identified at land at the back of a hotel on Taylor's Lane, Parkgate, close to School Lane."

When the Advertiser approached the police to confirm if a body had been found, the spokeswoman did not confirm or deny the claim. 

“Enquiries are ongoing and as such, we are unable to provide further information at this time," she added.
