Boat deliberately set on fire at Canklow
A BOAT was deliberately set alight in Canklow last night.
It was on the back of a trailer on Canklow Road and the incident was attended by firefighters from Rotherham, Parkway and Elm Lane stations.
They were there for about an hour from 9.40pm.
Later, a moped was deliberately set alight on Doncaster Road in Dalton. Firefighters were there for half an hour from 11.25pm.
There was an accidental blaze in an industrial bin on Field Way, Northfield, at 11pm, and deliberate fires involving grass at Denaby Main and a wheelie bin at Eastwood earlier in the evening.
