Bluebell Wood launches free summer BBQ pack for fundraisers

The Bangers For Bluebell kit includes recipes, games, invites and other tips to make a success of your fundraising event.

It was inspired by Steve and Jane Knight, who host an annual summer event in memory of Emma, who died of a brain tumour in 2008, aged 13.

The family were the first to stay in the North Anston hospice’s Forget Me Not end of life suite.

Steve said: “Watching Emma deteriorate was the worst thing in our lives, but it would have been a lot worse without Bluebell Wood. 

“When you’ve gone through what our family has, you look at life differently, and it's nice to know we’re making a difference.”
