The North Anston charity has use of the Toyota Aygo for 12 months thanks to Burrows Fleet, based in Barnsley.

The vehicle — carrying the Bluebell Wood logo — will be used by staff visiting families, meeting supporters and attending fundraisers.

Burrows local business development manager Mark Taylor said: “We know Bluebell Wood relies on fundraising for 90 per cent of its costs, so we’re pleased to do what we can to help those funds go further.”

Bluebell Wood corporate fundraising manager Rachael Dawes said: “We’re absolutely delighted with the car.

“It’s already been as far afield as London and Wales, as well as to Sheffield United’s ground at Bramall Lane, where staff and supporters played a match to raise funds for our hospice.”
