Blaze at Westgate flat believed to be accidental
A FIRE which broke out at a first floor town centre flat last Friday is believed to have been accidental.
Two crews from Rotherham and Parkway stations attended the blaze at Westgate at 6.15am and were at the scene until 8.10am.
"All persons were accounted for, nobody was injured or had to be rescued," said a fire service spokeswoman.
"Firefighters used fans to ventilate the property.
"The investigation is still ongoing but it's believed to be accidental."
