Bin fires in Goldthorpe and Edlington

BINS were torched in Goldthorpe and Edlington last night (Monday).

A crew from Dearne station was called to a commercial bin on fire in Market Street, Goldthorpe, at 7.40pm.

They left the scene at 8.15pm.

A crew was called to Hazel Road in Edlington at 8.50pm to a wheelie bin blaze and left at around 9.40pm.

Both fires were deliberate, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
