Bin blaze rampage in Rotherham

ARSONISTS targeted bins across Rotherham in an overnight series of attacks.

Two wheelie bins and a commercial bin were set ablaze.

A fire crew was called to Orchard Flatts Crescent in Wingfield at 8.40pm last night and spent 15 minutes putting out a fire in a wheelie bin.

At 3.20am this morning, two crews were called to another blazing wheelie bin.

This time the scene was on Brameld Road, Rawmarsh, and fire officers spent 40 minutes tackling it.

At 11.10pm last night, a commercial bin was set on fire at Fairways in Wickersley.

A fire crew from Maltby spent 20 minutes at the scene.
