Bin and car torched in Maltby just hours apart
A BIN and a car were deliberately set on fire in Maltby in incidents happening just hours apart.
A crew from Maltby station was called to a bin fire at 7.15pm last night (Monday) on Braithwell Road.
They used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 7.45pm, a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
Another crew was then called out to Salisbury Road at 4am this morning to tackle a Hyundai car which had been torched.
Both fires were deliberate, added the spokeswoman.
