Biker hurt in two-vehicle crash at Broom

Police said the 29-year-old, riding a white and orange KTM Duke, was travelling towards Rotherham town centre shortly before 6pm on Monday (24).

A spokeswoman added: “It was involved in a collision with a silver Toyota Yaris, travelling in the opposite direction and preparing to turn right.”

It happened close to Broom Lane Care Home and the 33-year-old woman driving the Yaris was not injured.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who saw the motorbike before the collision. Call 101 quoting incident 688 of June 24.
