Biker fighting for life after Kiveton Park crash

A MOTORCYCLIST suffered life-threatening injuries after hitting a telegraph pole and being thrown from his bike.

The 30-year-old was riding a black Cagiva Supercity, was travelling along Red Hill in Kiveton Park at 11.20am on Saturday.

The man, from North Anston, was travelling towards South Anston when he appears to have lost control, police say.

He was thrown from the vehicle and ended up in the road. The bike came to rest in undergrowth.

He suffered life-threatening internal injuries and is currently being treated at Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital.

Police have appealed for witnesses, or anyone who saw the bike being ridden before the incident.
