Big-hearted Alannah loses locks for Little Princess Trust
BIG-hearted Alannah Sizer was so moved by seeing sick children on TV she was determined to help — and responded by handing over her long hair.
The seven-year-old from Kimberworth sacrificed 12 inches of her flowing locks to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for cancer patients.
Proud mum Sinead said: “She saw children who were poorly on the TV and wanted to help so we researched the Little Princess Trust.
“The haircut was done by Karen at His and Hers salon in the town centre.
“We are still collecting some last few donations but we will be donating over £200.”
