Big dig to pave way for Waverley’s next phase
A MAJOR infrastructure project will pave the way for Waverley’s next phase — including adding a road link to Catcliffe.
Earthworks will level vacant land which will be used to add more housing to the growing community east of the Advanced Manufacturing Park.
Highfield Lane has been built gradually from the Handsworth end as the estate’s properties boundary has crept closer to Catcliffe.

Waverley will total 4,000 homes built over a 20-year period and plans for a £50 million town centre development were approved last year.
