Better late than never, Jim!
MILLERS no. 2 Jimmy Mullen says he's delighted to be working with Ronnie Moore—even though it's come three months late and at a different club!
Mullen was sat in the office at Tranmere Rovers' Prenton Park ground this summer waiting to sign to become Ronnie's no.2 when Ronnie got a phone call to go to the boardroom.
He was subsequently sacked and the link-up never happened.
Now, finally, the former team-mates from the Millers' 1981 Division Three title-winning side are back in tandem and Mullen reckons it's a partnership that can work.
"What nearly happened at Tranmere has happened here and I'm more than delighted to be working with him again," he said.
