Bedroom fire sparked by 'smoking materials'
A MAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a bedroom fire in Bradgate which was started by smoking materials.
Firefighters from Rivelin, Aston and Dearne stations were called to Kimberworth Road, Bradgate, at 8.55pm on Saturday to tackle the blaze, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
The fire is believed to have been started by smoking materials and the man is believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, she added.
Firefighters used hose reels to put out the fire and left the scene at 10.45pm.
