Beauty business owner expands into larger premises and set to open training academy

THE owner of a thriving beauty business has moved into larger premises — where she aims to open her own training academy.

Former graphic designer Claire Chambers forged a new career in eyebrow styling and correction from her garage in Wickersley.

Now the 43-year-old has relocated Claire Chambers Elite Brow Stylist to new premises in Manvers.

“At first, I fitted appointments around my full-time job, but I fell in love with brow treatments and all the opportunities it offered,” said Claire.

“I decided to make it a full time career in 2013 and I haven’t looked back.

“Despite the recent challenges of the Covid pandemic, I’ve now been able to fulfil my long-term dream of branching out into training by acquiring a perfect space in Manvers.

“I love to help people and this way I get to pass on my experience and skills and see people achieve a successful career within the brow styling industry, as I have.

“My relocation to Manvers provides me with a bigger, brighter space where I can still deliver a service to my current clients, while developing a brow training academy at the same time.”

Claire said she aimed to open her new training academy in Concept Court in the new year and was looking to collaborate with another business owner, who is starting her own aesthetics training school in the same building.

She added: “We have some big ideas — so watch this space.”
