BBQ fire in Maltby spreads to fence and shed
A BBQ got out of control and spread to a fence and shed in Maltby yesterday afternoon.
A crew from Maltby station attended the incident on Acacia Avenue just after 3.45pm.
The BBQ fire spread to a fence and shed accidentally, said a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"Firefighters left at the scene at 4.08pm after extinguishing the fire and providing safety advice about the use of BBQs," added the spokesman.
