Barnsley man admits downloading 21 child abuse images in Rotherham
A MAN who downloaded indecent images of children, including those of the most extreme nature, is due to be sentenced next month.
Derek Powers (61), of The Avenue, Royston, pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court yesterday (Thursday) to three counts of making indecent photographs of children in Rotherham between 2007 and 2018.
He had eight category A images (the most extreme level), six category B images and seven category C images.
Powers was released on unconditional bail and is due to be sentenced at the crown court on August 8.
