Balloon tribute to tragic mum Megan Borrows
FRIENDS and family of a mum of two who was killed in a car crash will release balloons in her memory this weekend.
More than 70 pink balloons will be let off from the Earl Grey pub in Rawmarsh at 4pm on Saturday to mark Megan Borrows’ birthday weekend.
Megan’s mum Diane said Megan (pictured), who died in a smash in Kimberworth in June last year, would actually have turned 25 on Sunday but her family had decided to combine the balloon launch with a Saturday night out her friends had organised.
Diane said: “We are expecting hundreds of people to be there as Megan was so well-loved.”
