Bales of straw set alight in Maltby
BALES of straw were deliberately set alight in an arson attack in Maltby last night (Tuesday).
Firefighters from Maltby station were called to the deliberate fire in a field near to Maltby Sports Centre on Braithwell Road at 9.20pm and spent 15 minutes tackling the blaze, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
