Back the favourite at junior football club's race night

A RACE night will be held to raise money for dugouts at a football pitch.

Rawmarsh St Joseph’s Junior Football Club will hold A Night at the Races at Queen’s Hotel, Kilnhurst Road, Rawmarsh, on Saturday, March 2, from 7pm.

All funds raised will be donated to the club’s project to build dugouts at its Stubbin football ground on Back Lane.

Tickets are £2, which includes a £1 free bet on the last race of the night, and punters can sponsor a horse or jockey for £3 or a race for £20.

Tickets can be purchased at the café at Stubbin.
