HEALTH staff and volunteers celebrated their successes with a glitzy awards and graduation ceremony.
The event at New York Stadium recognised the hard work, dedication and achievements happening at Rotherham, Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH).
Awards were handed to medics from around the trust’s area of operation — including several for Rotherham-based individuals and teams.
Winners included the Rotherham Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) team, which scooped clinical team of the year.
The Ferns Ward team, based in the Woodlands centre for over-65s at Rotherham Hospital, won the quality care award.
The IT team covering Doncaster, Rotherham and North Lincolnshire won the chief executive’s award.
And Lisa Grandcourt and the facilities team, covering the same patch, were runners up in the support team of the year category.
Chairman of the trust Lawson Pater said: “This event showcases the fantastic achievements and exemplary work of our staff and volunteers.
“It’s our way to say a big thank you to them for their enthusiasm, energy and for going the extra mile for our patients, services users and clients.”
