Attackers try to steal man's dog

TWO men attacked a dog walker — and then tried to take his pet.

The incident happened on Lowfield Road, Bolton-upon-Dearne, at around 4.45am on Tuesday.

He was approached by two men who made attempts to take his white husky and suffered minor injuries, including scratches to his head and bruising.

The two suspects were described as white, in their early 20s, with one about six feet tall and the other 5ft 8ins tall.

They were both said to have had brown hair and were wearing tracksuits with snoods around their faces and woolly hats.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 80 of November 14.
