Arsonists torch parked lorry

A LORRY was torched by arsonists last night (Tuesday).

The vehicle was parked on Aldwarke Lane, Aldwarke, when it was set alight at 8.20pm.

Two crews from Rotherham fire station attended the incident and were at the scene for 20 minutes.

Commercial rubbish was also deliberately set on fire by arsonists at 11.55pm on Droppingwell Road, Kimberworth.

The crew from Rotherham station was at the scene for 30 minutes.
