Arsonists torch multiple bales of hay in Rawmarsh
THIRTY bales of hay were torched in Rawmarsh on Saturday afternoon.
Firefighters from Dearne station went to Wentworth Road at 1.12pm and found around the hay on fire.
A spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the crews had spent almost three hours dragging the bales apart to get the fire out.
"They left the scene at 4pm, and the fire is thought to have been started deliberately," she added.
