Arsonists torch metal cages outside of Edlington supermarket
METAL cages containing paper and cardboard were set on fire outside of a supermarket in Edlington last night (Sunday).
A fire crew from Edlington station were called out to Asda on Edlington Lane at 8.15pm.
"A number of metal cages containing paper and cardboard were on fire," said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"The fire was believed to have been started deliberately and no-one was injured."
The crew left at 9.10pm.
