Arsonists torch hay bales in Conisbrough

HAYBALES were torched by arsonists in Conisbrough yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

A crew from Edlington station was called to Hill Top Road at 3.45pm.

"Approximately ten hay bales were on fire and our crew was on scene for around one hour," a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The cause of the fire was deliberate.
