Arsonists torch bin store at Brinsworth Academy
A BIN store was deliberately set alight at Brinsworth Academy last night.
Two crews from Rotherham fire station attended the incident at the academy on Brinsworth Road at 5.55pm.
On their arrival they found the bin store was well alight, said a spokesman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
Four bins were believed to had been torched.
"The fire was put out just after 6.20pm and two hose reels had been used," added the spokesman.
"Firefighters left the scene at 7pm and fire is thought to have been started deliberately."
