Arsonists strike three times in Rotherham overnight
FIRE crews tackled a trio of deliberate blazes overnight in Rotherham.
A skip was deliberately set on fire at 9.25pm on Silverdales in Dinnington. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident and left at 9.50pm.
Crews were also called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11.40pm on Houghton Road, Thurnscoe, leaving the scene 20 minutes later.
A car was then deliberately set on fire at 2am on Black Carr Road, Wickersley.
Firefighters from Maltby station spent over an hour tackling the blaze and left at 3.10am.
