Arsonists strike three times in one night in borough

FIREFIGHTERS were called out three times in one night to deal with deliberate fires in Catcliffe, Dinnington, and Masbrough.

Two crews from Parkway and Rotherham stations were called out to a deliberate skip fire at 7.50pm on Sheffield Parkway at Catcliffe. The crews left the scene at 8.30pm.

Aston firefighters spend more than 45 minutes tackling a deliberate rubbish fire at 8.45pm on Swinston Hill Road, Dinnington. The crew came away at 9.35pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were then called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11.35pm on Dovercourt Road, Masbrough. The crew left at 11.45pm.
