Arsonists strike straw bales in Mexborough
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a fire in a cornfield in Mexborough on Monday night.
Arsonists had set alight two or three bales of straw on Ullswater Road at about 8.45pm.
A fire crew from Dearne attended and a spokesman confirmed the cause of the fire was deliberate.
