Arsonists set rubbish, grass and bin alight

RUBBISH, grass, and a clothing bin were set on fire by arsonists overnight in the borough.

Firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7.05pm on Snail Hill, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7.30pm.

A crew then attended a deliberate grass fire at 7.35pm on Station Road, Wath, leaving at 8.15pm.

A clothing bin was later deliberately set on fire at 11.55pm on Ranyard Road, Balby. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident and left at 12.33am.
