Arsonists set rubbish alight in Wombwell

A RUBBISH pile was set alight in Wombwell on Sunday night.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called to Snowden Terrace at 8.15pm to tackle the blaze and were at the scene for around 20 minutes, a spokesman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The fire was started deliberately, he added.
