Arsonists set light to haybales and rubbish in Rotherham
TWO haybales and some rubbish were torched in two areas of Rotherham overnight.
Firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to two hay bales alight on Fenton Road in Kimberworth Park at 11.20pm and were on scene for just over an hour.
Just after 2am, the Rotherham crew attended rubbish on fire on Canklow Road. They came away from the scene at 2.20am.
Both fires are believed to have been started deliberately, said a spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
