Arsonist strikes in Elsecar

A FIRE crew spent 50 minutes tackling a blaze amongst a pile of rubbish in Elsecar.

An arsonist set fire to the rubbish on Wath Road last night (July 10).

The Cudworth fire crew was called out at 8pm.

A Fire Service spokeswoman said the fire was started “deliberately”.
