Arson attacks on vehicles in Parkgate and Rawmarsh

A TRANSIT van was deliberately set on fire in Parkgate on New Year's Day. 

A crew from Rotherham station attended the scene in Rail Mill Way at 8.55pm. 

A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman confirmed the cause was deliberate and firefighters left the scene just after 9pm. 

A BMW car was also torched in Ingshead Avenue, Rawmarsh, on Monday, at 9.05pm by arsonists. Crews left the scene just after 9.30pm.
