Arson attacks in Dearne Valley

TWO arson attacks took place in the Dearne Valley in one night.

A car — believed to have been a Peugeot 206 — was targeted on Aldham House Lane, Wombwell.

Firefighters were called at 7.30pm on Thursday and spent half-an-hour at the scene.

A skip  was also deliberately set alight on Pitt Street in Mexborough at midnight on Friday.

Crews spent half-an-hour at the scene.
