Arson attack in Kimberworth Park
A TYRE was set alight in an arson attack in Kimberworth Park last night (Sunday).
Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Oaks Lane at 6.48pm and found a tyre had been set alight at the base of a tree, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.
The crew left the scene at 7.28pm.
Firefighters from Parkway station were called to a small vehicle fire on Meadowbank Close, Meadowbank, at 9.13pm on Friday, the spokesperson said.
The car was well alight and the crew left at 9.50pm, they added.
