Arson attack at Rawmarsh grassland

GRASSLAND was deliberately set alight in an arson attack in Rawmarsh yesterday.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to the deliberate fire on Greasbrough Lane at 7.50pm and were at the scene until 8.15pm, a spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

Firefighters from Aston station were called to a deliberate fire involving garden waste on Mansfield Road, Aston, at 10.45pm and spent 15 minutes at the scene, the spokesperson added.
