Arson at allotments site

FIREFIGHTERS spent two hours at an allotments site after a deliberate fire this morning (Thursday).

Crews from Dearne station were called to Wath Road in Mexborough at 1.20am.

They were also called out to a deliberate rubbish fire in Wombwell last night.

It took them about half an hour from 8pm to deal with the incident on Orchard Street.
