Armed robbery at Kimberworth bookmakers

TWO armed men held-up a bookmakers in Kimberworth last night (Sunday), threatening staff and stealing cash. 

The men entered the Coral bookmakers on Oaks Lane carrying weapons at 6.15pm, said a police spokeswoman.

"The men are said to have threatened staff and left with an amount of cash. No-one was injuried," added the spokeswoman. 

Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved and anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting incident number 735 of June 16.
