Armed robbers target Aston store...then the upstairs flat

Two men threatened customers and staff with a suspected firearm at the Premier on Rosegarth Avenue, Aston, at 9.30pm on Monday (14).

They took money from the till before forcing their way upstairs and grabbing more cash and jewellery.

A police spokesperson said: “Those involved were understandably left shaken by the incident and have been working closely with our officers today.”

The suspects are both described as white and were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who was in the area last night who witnessed the men, or captured them on a dash-cam or CCTV.
